Snoqualmie Valley Community Spotlights

Let’s applaud our fellow members who are giving back to their community.

Locals Helping Locals Across the Valley

The Sno Valley Eagles have provided support to the Valley for nearly 50 years, exemplifying their motto of “people helping people”. They have hosted fundraisers, organized blood drives, and provided a space where locals can come together to support each other.

“It’s a really great group of people, all there for the same reason. We care about what happens to the community and have the ability to help those in need,” said Mary Hutter, a Trustee with the Sno Valley Eagles.

During Covid-19, their focus has been providing relief to those experiencing hardship from the impacts of the pandemic. Working with local food banks they have provided over 4,500 meals to those in need–entirely free of charge. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, members and volunteers prepare meals to be handed out, no questions asked.

Once it’s safe to do so, the Eagles’ event space will host live music, raffles, auctions, dance parties, and karaoke … all fundraisers for charities and local causes, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This space is also available for the public to rent (at a great price), with proceeds going towards Sno Valley Eagles initiatives.
