Sno Falls Credit Union will hold two Community Shred Events in 2024.

1. May 4, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: Carnation Market.

2. September 21, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: North Bend Branch.

In order for this event to better serve our local community, please be mindful of bringing excessive materials (5+ banker boxes). 

Help Feed Your Local Community

Sno Falls Credit Union will be collecting non-perishable food items at all 2024 Shred Events in support of our local food bank.

Why Shred?

“Dumpster Diving,” or searching through trash for personal information, is a tactic used by identity thieves. Shredding sensitive documents is one way to reduce your risk of becoming an identity theft victim. Attend our free community shred events to clear out filing cabinets and keep your personal information out of the hands of crooks.

What To Shred

Please bring paper with sensitive information only. The U.S. government recommends destroying all sensitive information including junk mail and paperwork that include:

  • Account numbers
  • Birth dates
  • Passwords and PINs
  • Signatures
  • Social Security numbers

To protect your privacy, you should also consider shredding items that include:

  • Names
  • Addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • E-mail addresses
